Movie Film

It is the town of Rajahmundry and here lives Rajesh (nikhil) a handsome young man who is smart and uses his intellect to make loans throughout the place. His father (kasi viswanath) is a school teacher and they are basically a middle class family. One day, Shruti (swetha) dashes into their home in the process of escaping from a dog and accidentally her chain gets dropped. This falls into the hands of Rajesh and from then on, he keeps her on her toes asking her for many favors and assuring to give back the chain. The story takes a turn when Rajesh is forced to pledge the chain to save a friend from a problem and the chain goes to the fearsome Narendar Shetty (ajay). Shetty happens to be the ‘bava’ of Shruti who has been enquiring her about the chain since it has been missing. He decides to get her at any cost and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Artist Performances:

Nikhil’s energetic performance is an asset to the movie.He is undoubtedly one of the promising actor’s in the film industry. He is throwing challenge to the young crop of heroes with his performance, irrespective of his films success or failure. Swetha looks alright and her performance is also appealing but it is her physique which has to be changed. She has put on oodles of weight and is looking out of shape. Ajay is another talented actor and he has done full justice to it. The comedy gang of Ali (apt), Venu Madhav (okay), Raghu Babu (hilarious), Dharmavarapu (average) did their bit to add few laughs. Kasi Vishwanath, Ahuti Prasad and others contributed in the character roles. The item song girl Anitha looked hot and the rest of the cast didn’t have much to offer.

Analysis:

Almost the entire backdrop of the film is in Rajahmundry and the film could have been a lot better if the makers worked on few twists and crisp editing. Atleast one or two good songs would have appealed to the masses. Though the content was interesting, it is the execution of the plot that went haywire and failed to engage the audience. Though there are few good sequences here and there, overall the feel of the movie is Ok. The masses will have few things to take home due to Nikhil’s performance but apart from that, the film May shine at the box office.
